Honoring Black Excellence- Adidas

Forbes Hypebeast

Honoring Black Excellence is an ongoing adidas initiative celebrating Black creatives, communities, and cultural legacies. Rooted in storytelling and collaboration, the project uplifts voices across generations—highlighting artistry, activism, and heritage through fashion, film, and design. In its latest chapter, the campaign spotlighted the intergenerational power of Southern Black creativity, featuring the Gee’s Bend quilters alongside artists, families, and changemakers whose work continues to shape culture today. For the Atlanta edition, I styled honorees, performers, and community figures—including the iconic Gee’s Bend quilters and their families—bringing together archival inspiration and contemporary streetwear to visually honor the region’s creative lineage.

ON A PLATE- A Lifestyle event curated by SOCCERBIBLE as part of the Adidas Futbol Society

As Assistant Costume Designer alongside Mali Gabriela da Souto Silva Reiter and Aster Rodriguez, we worked under Lead Fashion Designer Rebeca Tsuki to bring her designs to life in real time.

In collaboration with @adidasfootball and the Adidas Fútbol Society, Creative Directors Keane Pearce Shaw and Pete Martin transformed the iconic Majestic Diner in Atlanta into a runway celebrating the 2025 MLS jersey launch. Each jersey we created was up-cycled and meticulously reconstructed to align with its most memorable fashion era, weaving a narrative from 1995 to 2025. With 30 jerseys from 30 clubs, we showcased a dynamic showcase that fused sports, history, and innovative design.
