A Celebration in Two Acts

When actress and singer Kat Graham and wellness entrepreneur Bryant Wood decided to celebrate their marriage for the second time exactly one year after their private elopement, they turned to Marcus Allen Creative to help shape a day that honored both their story and their values.

The result was a deeply personal, spiritually grounded celebration set against the dramatic mountain landscape of Chalet Tournesol, a venue built from the ground up by Kat’s godmother, Valerie von Sobel, in memory of her late son and husband. Every detail was considered: ikebana-style florals foraged on the property the morning of, and a guest experience that reflected the couple’s commitment to mindfulness and intention.

Kat wore a custom Jean Paul Gaultier gown, designed over two years with Franck Duquenne, paired with Chaumet rings and a steel rose bouquet symbolizing resilience after loss. Bryant’s white silk ensemble was created by designer Anamika Khanna, delivered only an hour before the ceremony by Kat’s best friend, Hema Bose.

From the staff wardrobe by The Vestments Group to chef-curated cuisine by Chef Joann & Co., the day was a reflection of the couple’s philosophy:intention, presence, and community. A dry reception featuring matcha–yuzu and floral beverages replaced alcohol, while live performances from Ronobir Lahiri, Pink Mozart Entertainment, WhiteWolf and DJ Spence carried guests into a vibrant evening of laughter, dance, and play.

The wedding marked not just a union, but a reclamation. “We did everything our way,” Kat told The Knot. “We were friends first. It wasn’t love at first sight—we did everything backwards.”
